1. Medaxion 9.5: Beta is now complete, with release scheduled for the evening of Sunday, Nov 30th. A big thank you to the beta team! See release detail document here for descriptions of the four key enhancements and two additional features included in Medaxion 9.5. Key features include: (1) email login identification, (2) multi-factor authentication (MFA), (3) anesthesia group selection & management and (4) encounter reprint reminder.

2. Device Login Changes: Special call-out that Medaxion 9.5 removes display of user lists during the provider app authentication/login process. Users now identify themselves by typing email address. Important: after user authentication, the 4 digit PIN unlock method is unchanged. This login process change was made to increase app security.

3. User QuickSet Sharing: Providers can now share their personal QuickSets by allowing other

to clone for their use/ modification. To do this, providers navigate to their web QuickSet page, simply select “Sharable”. Once selected, that QuickSet will appear on the “Add Quick Set” page for all users under option “Clone from existing quick set”.

4. RCM Exit Note Requirement: For Medaxion RCM, requiring an case exit note can now be specified on a queue by queue basis. Previously case exit notes were universally required.

5. 2026 ICD-CPT Codes: ICD codes have been updated on the Medaxion web interface. A Medaxion 9.5.1 release is anticipated just after the new year to include ICD and CPT code updates on the app.
